SPORTS CLUB
Sports are a very important learning tool. At Sant Josep Obrer we offer a whole range of sport activites with the aim to help our children and youngsters to lead an active and healthy lifestyle in a fun way. These activities are open to different age groups. Further indications are given at the beginning of every school term.
Sant Josep Obrer Sport Club offers the following activities: Basketball School and competitions, Volleyball School and competitions, Gymnastics, Swimming, Judo and Athletics. In some of the activities, our athletes have the opportunity to take part in the School Olympics organised by the Council of Mallorca, whereas in others, they will be able to enter official competitions.

BASKETBALL SCHOOL
Activities and training for those who want to start with the practice of Basketball, improving basic motor skills and starting in the specific skills of this sport (boat, pass, launch ...). This activity involves the inscription in the School Sports Games of the Consell de Mallorca, and therefore, the possibility of participating in the festivities and sports days that are organized.

VOLLEYBALL SCHOOL
Activities and training for those who want to start with the practice of Volleyball, improving basic motor skills and starting in the specific skills of this sport (reception, service, auction). This activity implies the inscription in the School Sports Games of the Council of Mallorca, and therefore, the possibility of participating in the festivities and sports days that are organized.

RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS
Proposal for children and young people with desire to start and improve their gymnastic skills. This activity implies the inscription in the Federation of Gymnastics of the Balearic Islands, and therefore, the possibility of participating in the festivities and sports days that are organized.

SWIMMING
This activity will enable younger children from a first contact with the aquatic environment to learn to swim autonomously, always taking advantage of the benefits and multiple benefits that the practice of Swimming has.

Sports activities for the little ones with the aim of developing basic motor skills such as displacements, jumps, turns ... In addition, they will be able to know and get started in the different modalities that they will be able to practice later in our sports project. This activity implies the inscription in the School Sports Games of the Council of Mallorca, and therefore, the possibility of participating in the festivities and sports days that are organized.

JUDO
Activity adapted to all ages with the aim of improving values as important as respect and self-control through a fighting sport. This activity involves registration in the Judo Federation of the Balearic Islands, and therefore, the possibility of participating in the festivities and sports days that are organized.

BÀSQUET
Entrenaments i partits dels equips masculins i femenins de les categories Mini, Infantil, Cadet, Júnior i Sènior. Tots ells participen en les competicions organitzades per la Federació de Bàsquet de les Illes Balears.
