XXI21 PROJECT

XXI21 Project is the name given to the current educational project of Secundària of the Sant Josep Obrer School. It aims to generate an innovative learning environment in which:

- We have the apprentice as the protagonist.

- We encourage cooperative learning.

- We connect with the motivations.

- We clearly attend to individual differences.

- We apply innovative evaluation strategies.

In schools, all spaces are for learning.

Hallways, classrooms, courtyards ...

For this reason we recognize the importance of creativity in our pedagogical model and we make artistic expression a transversal element of our stage.

ROBOTS THAT THINK

The spectacularity of the machines should not hide the true meaning of Robotics: learn to program and learn to think in an orderly, critical and systematic way.

This is the sense we give to Robotics and Programming, an essential complement to our learning process

Philosophy 3/18 is a transversal program in which students reflect and analyze in an orderly and critical way the reality that surrounds them. Following the guidelines of the Philosophy for Children program, we introduce routines of thought and reflection in all the courses.

One of the key elements of our educational project is the conviction that innovative learning must have a real, significant and competent component.

Students individually have a Chromebook device that allows them to work in the Google for Education environment.

Here they use collaborative work tools and connectivity that significantly facilitate their learning.

ASSETS

Sport is one of the transversal axes of the Educational Project of Sant Josep Obrer. We do it with quality facilities but also with a conception of sport and physical activity that understands it as a basic axis for new ways of learning and living.

We remember: We learn in movement and we also learn from movement.

The plurality and the complement to our academic itinerary are the raison d'être of the offer of extracurricula that we generate in Secondary.

From the CLUB OF DEBATE to the INTRODUCTION TO THE LANGUAGE OF THE SIGNS, passing through the CLUB OF ROBOTICS, the offer wants precisely to stimulate different scopes of knowledge.
